Whether rich or poor, educated or illiterate, believer or nonbeliever, we are all fighting something. Not all battles are physical. I have learned that the most difficult battles are the ones that happen from within, the ones that no one will know about if you don't open up, the one you are afraid to open up about because it could ruin your "perfect image", the one that you are ashamed of, the ones that you feel sorry for yourself for, the one you think that you cannot win, the list could go on and on about those battles. I have experienced them all. I have had times where my mind would just take over, and I would just believe all the things that the enemy say to me and carry on. Yes, I have struggled with a lot of negative thoughts no matter how confident I may appear to you. Remember my article I don't have it all together? I really don't have it all together, no one does.

What do we do with these inevitable battles? How do we handle the very things that the enemy use to bring us down? We bring them to the author of the universe, we bring them to God and trust His word.

Matthew 11:28 Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

I believe in the power of the word of God. His word does not say bring your burden to me and tomorrow you will be okay. There is no timeline with God's work, but He promises to give us rest when we bring our cases to Him, and this we can be sure of. For the past two years I have been bringing my cases to God and Him alone. Not everything is like rose petals in my life, I have my ups and downs, but I got to experience God's peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. I didn't even know that exist, I didn't know my little world could be crashing and I Daenne who love to have control could be peaceful. Not too long ago I shared a few things with my sisters in Christ and they told me that they didn't know so much was going on because I do not look like it. I told them it's all God's grace. There is a difference between acting like you have it all together when you really don't and sharing with others, so they can see God move.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Do not be discouraged if you feel like you are fighting an endless battle. Keep on Praying! You are not alone! There are other people going through the same thing. The thought that you are the only one that is going through your situation is one of the enemy's biggest lie! Jesus warned us that troubles would come our way, but He also said to take heart because He has overcome the world.

1 Peter 5: 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

It is one thing to bring your burden to Him and it is another thing to learn about your True identity in Him. No matter what your battle is, no matter what direction life is sending you, I want you to remember these few things about YOU.

YOU are special.

YOU matter.

YOU are not on this earth by accident.

YOU were created for a reason.

YOU have a purpose.

YOU are worthy of love! Remember John 3:16, the greatest LOVE of all.

God had plans for YOU before you even saw the light of day.

YOU were created by God and YOU are His. God is the King of Kings, YOU are ROYALTY!

Ephesians 1:4-5 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will. Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

When you get to a place where you regain your confidence, don't forget to use your testimony to bless others whom might be where you used to be because "people will relate to your weaknesses more than your strengths, so share that and let your strength empower them."

YOU are LOVED!
