Daenne's Journal Fam,
It has been a long journey with you. I cannot believe today mark 2 years of me posting my very first article. YES! It has been two years already since I have been pouring my heart out to the world. Daenne's Journal started two years ago while I was on exchange at the University of Louisville. I started by writing for the Odyssey online, and recently made this website to publish independently. I started with the sole purpose of sharing my exchange journey with the world. If you click here you will see that my first article was about buying books at a college bookstore.
You know sometimes you have your plans and you have it all lay down, but God has other plans? Yup! That is what happened with Daenne's Journal. God turned this platform into something different, something I would have never thought that I would be doing myself. But, I love it! I love pouring my heart out and share my struggles, my weaknesses, and my victories for the benefits of others. I believe there is so much power in our testimonies. Sometimes people are suffering silently, and just one testimony can change everything for them. Whenever you have a chance, whether it is in writing or in a simple conversation, share how you have overcome some struggles with others. Believe me, they will appreciate it. Just like I mentioned in one of my past articles, "people will relate to your weaknesses more than your strengths, so share that and let your strength empower them."
Thank you so much for always reading, engaging and sharing Daenne's Journal. You keep Daenne's Journal going. Whether you've been here from the start, you jumped in the middle, or today is your first day reading, I appreciate you and I thank God for you. Today is our day!
In Honor of the second year anniversary of Daenne's Journal, I am doing a Q&A. I will answer all your questions on my next post. Your questions can be about anything, just be respectful if you wish to get an answer. I will do my very best to be as transparent as I can.
