Happy Father's Day Pa!
If you know me, you know how much of a daddy's girl I am. Yes, even at 25! I love my daddy!
I am just so grateful that God has blessed me with a father that loves me and always wants the best for me. I usually don't post anywhere on social media about my dad because he is a very private person. I like to respect his privacy, but sorry not today daddy.
Growing up in Haiti, Mother’s Day always get all the hype, and Father’s Day was just a day. Moving to Miami not much has changed. While it is unfortunate that some fathers don’t take care of their children, they are some that do. But, we also have some absent and abusive mothers out there too. I believe that we should celebrate the wonderful fathers we have, just as much. Fathers are God's greatest gift.
Today I want to honor my dad and all the amazing Fathers out there. My dad is a hardworking man. He is a man of his word. He loves us. My dad is that one person that no matter what he’ll be there for me one way or another. He has taught me the true meaning of integrity and trust. There is so much that I have learned from him and I didn't realize how valuable they were until now. Thank you, Pa.
Fathers, you are seen, you are appreciated, you are needed, you are loved, you are cherished. Children are not the same without YOU. YOU make a difference and YOU matter! BE PRESENT!
To anyone that never had their biological father present, I am so sorry you had to go through this. I can only imagine the pain that this void can leave you with. I just want you all to know whether you have an amazing earthly father or one that is absent, you have a Heavenly Father that loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.
